Position Overview

The Culinary Supervisor will report directly to the Executive Chef and will oversee the daily operations of the venue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and set up all food items; perform opening and closing tasks; manage stock replenishment and rotation as directed by the General Manager and Regional Executive Chef.
  • Organize non-food items for shifts; maintain a high level of sanitation awareness and professionalism.
  • Input daily event sheets and reports accurately.
  • Produce menu items promptly and in alignment with company standards.
  • Follow directions meticulously; maintain work areas and ensure proper food storage.
  • Comply with company guidelines and house rules, consistently exceeding guest expectations.
  • Assist in staffing, scheduling, training, and mentoring event staff.
  • Engage with guests and staff to ensure satisfaction.
  • Possess extensive knowledge of food and beverage offerings, including specials and services.
  • Ensure adherence to company service standards, inventory management, and cash control procedures.
  • Collaborate effectively with fellow associates and other service departments.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform each essential duty at the highest level. The following qualifications are required:

  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • Professional culinary training or experience in a fast-paced, high-volume fine dining or catering environment is preferred.
  • Ability to interact positively with co-workers to ensure compliance with service standards.
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, and guest relations.
  • Capacity to multitask in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in reading, speaking, and writing in English.
  • Ability to lift and transport items weighing up to 30 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds.
  • Willingness to work all events, including extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Mobility to perform assigned tasks, including reaching, bending, and lifting for extended periods.

Adhere to safe work practices, follow all safety policies and regulations, and complete necessary safety training.
