Key Responsibilities:

The Culinary Event Supervisor is accountable for overseeing all facets of quality assurance, team management, and guest satisfaction during service. This role is primarily concentrated on the banquet sector but also engages in various elements of the culinary operations.

The Culinary Event Supervisor holds full accountability for their designated area. This includes leading, mentoring, guiding, and managing staff under the direction of the Executive Chef.

The ideal candidate is committed to their ongoing professional development and skill enhancement.

Strong organizational skills are essential, paired with an emphasis on quality, ingredient sourcing, and seasonal availability. Daily and weekly market lists must be completed efficiently.

Assist in the planning and execution of all menu designs and implementations.

Ensure that food quality and presentation standards are upheld and continuously enhanced.

Coordinate food production with a focus on cost-effectiveness and hygiene.

Weekly Responsibilities:

Recruit, train, and manage all kitchen personnel.

Continuously seek improvements in operational processes.

Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency.

Explore methods to reduce costs while maintaining service and product quality for guests.

Refer to the Employee Handbook to ensure consistent communication of rules and regulations to the team.

Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures.

Participate actively in meetings.

Requirements:

Foster excellent working relationships across departments to guarantee consistent delivery and fulfillment of guest expectations.

Facilitate daily team briefings and monthly departmental gatherings.

Coordinate and execute all banquet event orders.

Manage and oversee both food and labor expenses.

Timely planning of all food requisitions.

Efficiently manage and post the banquet schedule.
