Position Overview:

The Sales Account Executive will be responsible for cultivating new customer relationships and managing existing accounts within their designated sales territory. This role is crucial for enhancing operational efficiency through effective collaboration with local operations management, national and local sales teams, and mobile maintenance technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement pre-sales and marketing strategies for both target and existing accounts.
2. Maintain a robust sales activity pipeline to meet and exceed revenue quotas and Mobile Maintenance utilization goals.
3. Proactively respond to leads and represent the comprehensive range of Ryder services.
4. Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify client requirements and prepare value-based proposals.
5. Collaborate with the operations team to ensure exceptional service delivery.
6. Report on sales and operational activities to management and ensure compliance with sales protocols.
7. Foster supportive relationships with local and national sales teams to leverage resources for new opportunities.
8. Develop detailed account profiles for all prospect solicitations.

Engage in training and improvement initiatives to enhance sales skills, industry knowledge, and personal growth.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of five years of demonstrated sales excellence with a track record of quota achievement.
- Strong understanding of Ryder's product offerings and ability to interpret financial data.

Skills Required:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships across all organizational levels.
- High degree of initiative and self-motivation.
- Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
