Job Overview
As a Senior Sales Executive, you will play a pivotal role in managing the daily functions of our sales division.
Your responsibilities will encompass recruiting and mentoring sales personnel, communicating essential information from upper management to the sales team regarding sales targets, and generating leads to allocate among Sales Representatives.
Essential Qualifications:
Experience in one-call close (Exterior/Interior Home Renovation) is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adjusts appointment schedules based on Inside Sales feedback
- Generates a minimum of 3 new leads weekly, amounting to 12 monthly
- Accompanies Sales Representatives on field visits at least 4-5 times weekly
- Conducts cancel-save appointments
- Analyzes daily performance metrics and implements necessary actions to achieve sales goals
- Prepares and leads weekly sales meetings
- Effectively utilizes the In-Home Sales Team Lead to ensure Sales Representatives receive consistent coaching and constructive feedback
Leadership Responsibilities:
- Holds regular meetings with subordinate staff to discuss overall business objectives, strategies, and challenges; ensures team members understand how their roles contribute to the organization’s mission and vision; encourages input and suggestions from team members.
- Clearly assigns tasks, projects, or special assignments so employees are aware of expectations, deadlines, and available resources.
- Evaluates how effectively team members utilize their judgment and problem-solving skills; engages in ongoing discussions regarding performance evaluations.
- Selects new hires from a pool of candidates provided by upper management.
- Conducts comprehensive training sessions for new sales representatives and organizes workshops for existing employees as needed.
- Provides new hires with thorough training on role expectations, workplace relationships, and company culture.
- Makes decisions regarding employee retention if performance standards are not met and communicates with management.
- Continuously seeks to improve systems and processes to enhance output.
- Requests additional staffing resources from management.
- Collaborates with other managers to enhance the customer experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience in one-call close (Exterior/Interior Home Renovation) is required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 3+ years of experience in a sales role preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- 1 year of Sales Management experience (Preferred)
- 5 years of Outside Sales experience (Preferred)
- 1 year of Customer Service experience (Preferred)
