Field Sales Executive – Food Distribution

Sales Territory-Regional focus on the Lancaster, Harrisburg, York area

Our client, a prominent distributor of fresh meats, groceries, and deli products, caters to both retail and foodservice sectors within the Lancaster, Harrisburg, York region. **Successful candidates should possess prior experience in outside sales, specifically within the retail grocery or foodservice industries.

This well-established organization has been a trusted partner for over 120 years, delivering poultry and perishable goods through its dedicated transportation network across several states.

The ideal Field Sales Executive will have:


• Proven experience managing a designated sales territory while achieving budgetary and profit goals.


• A track record of regularly engaging with existing retail grocery stores, butcher shops, and foodservice clients, while actively seeking new business opportunities.


• Skills in developing and implementing strategic account business plans.


• Effective time management and resource allocation to achieve desired outcomes.


• Competence in pricing strategies and monitoring compliance with credit terms.

Qualifications:

· Previous experience in outside sales is essential, preferably in retail grocery or foodservice.

· A goal-oriented, self-motivated individual who thrives both independently and in a team setting.

· Strong professional communication skills, both verbal and written, along with proficient computer skills.

· Ability to think critically and solve problems creatively.

· A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.

· A High School Diploma/GED is mandatory; a Bachelor's degree or experience in retail grocery meat is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits Overview:

· Compensation is commission-based following a training period, with uncapped earnings potential (Annual Average for this territory is $70K to $75K).

· A bi-weekly base salary is provided during the training phase (typically lasting 6+ months).

· Monthly vehicle allowance ($750.00), along with a gas card and cell phone.

· Access to sales support and resources, with an Inside Sales Partner assigned to each territory.

· Home office setup including laptop, cell phone, printer, and internet service provided by the company.
