Residential Property Manager

Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and organized Assistant Community Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leasing, compliance, and customer service, with a focus on maximizing rental income and providing a quality living experience for our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Leasing and Compliance: Assist with daily site operations, monitor and direct leasing, retention, and re-certifications to meet a 97% physical occupancy goal.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to residents, respond to issues and concerns, and partner with the Community Manager as needed.
- Operations Administration: Oversee office functions, including office hours, filing, computer systems, reports, and other administrative tasks.
- Market Analysis: Keep informed of market conditions and update competitive market analysis quarterly.
- Financial Management: Enter and code invoices, post rents, make deposits, and maintain accurate resident ledgers.
- Property Maintenance: Inspect property, pick up litter, and report issues to the Service Maintenance Manager.
- Team Management: Assist in recruitment, training, supervision, and motivation of team members, and participate in the preparation of annual reviews and performance management process.
- Education: College degree or 3+ years in a progressive career path in Residential Property Management, Hotel, Hospitality, or Retail Management.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in Property Management, Hotel, Hospitality, or Retail required.
- Industry Designations: Industry designations (COS, LIHTC, ARM, etc.) preferred.
- Skills: Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Yardi or other industry software experience required. Proven Excellent Customer Service skills required.
