Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Property Management Department as a Sustainable Property Management Intern. The successful candidate will assist our team in achieving our sustainability goals by supporting property owners in implementing sustainable practices and improving the overall quality of life for residents and the surrounding community.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Analysis: Review association financials to identify opportunities for cost savings and suggest improvements to building improvement projects.
- Sustainability Research: Conduct research to support property management initiatives and provide recommendations for incorporating sustainability concepts throughout our portfolio.
- Presentations: Develop and present new ideas for incorporating sustainability concepts into our properties.
- Owner Resource Development: Support and lead the development of resources for property owners to help them achieve their sustainability goals.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the Property Management Department, including organizing Dropbox folders and making recommendations to improve office efficiency.
- Communication: Possess excellent communication skills and be able to interact with clients and team members in a professional and courteous manner.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook, with the ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
- Accountability: Take ownership of tasks and projects, and be able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a geographically diverse team.
