Senior Residential Clinician for Juvenile Justice

Eliot is in search of a licensed Senior Clinician with a strong background in addressing the clinical needs of children and adolescents. The ideal candidate will possess supervisory experience, a solid understanding of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and the capability to engage effectively with diverse populations and cultural backgrounds.
Eliot's juvenile justice initiatives encompass a residential framework for youth aged 13 to 21 who are involved with the court system and require placement while awaiting further legal proceedings, assessments, or extended treatment.
These highly structured, self-sufficient programs provide a comprehensive intervention strategy for juvenile offenders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and nurture effective working relationships with youth, families, referral sources, and community support systems.
- Deliver individual and family therapy in alignment with program guidelines and regulatory policies.
- Oversee the creation and execution of Individual Service Plans.
- Supervise case management and advocacy efforts for youth.
- Maintain knowledge of community resources relevant to the youth's residence.
- Participate in administrative meetings, staff briefings, and facilitate clinical and community discussions.
- Assist in organizing and engaging in staff training sessions.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a relevant field and independently licensed as a LICSW, LMFT, or LMHC.
- A minimum of three years of direct experience with the target population.
- Familiarity with clinical challenges faced by children and adolescents, along with a working knowledge of DBT and substance abuse issues.
- At least one year of experience in a supervisory capacity.
- Proficiency in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to cultivate and sustain professional relationships with residents, colleagues, and supervisors.
- Capability to work effectively with diverse populations and cultural groups.
- Physical ability to implement Crisis Prevention Intervention techniques.
Schedule:
Full-time position, 40 hours per week, with flexible scheduling options.
Salary: $70,000
Additional 6% salary increase for bilingual candidates.
