Senior Residential Clinician for Youth Justice

Eliot is in search of a licensed Senior Clinician with a background in addressing the clinical needs of children and adolescents. The ideal candidate will possess supervisory experience, a solid understanding of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and the capability to engage effectively with diverse populations and cultural backgrounds.

Eliot's juvenile justice initiatives encompass a residential framework for youth aged 13 to 21 who are involved with the court system and require placement while awaiting court proceedings, assessments, or extended treatment. These highly structured, self-sufficient programs provide a comprehensive intervention for juvenile offenders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and nurture effective working relationships with youth, families, referral sources, and extended support networks.
  • Deliver individual and family therapy in alignment with program, DYS, DEEC, and ECHS policies and procedures.
  • Oversee the creation and execution of Individual Service Plans.
  • Supervise case management and advocacy efforts for youth.
  • Maintain knowledge of community resources relevant to the youth served.
  • Participate in administrative, staff, and shift change meetings, and lead clinical and community discussions.
  • Assist in organizing and engaging in staff training sessions.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a relevant field and independently licensed as a LICSW, LMFT, or LMHC, with a minimum of three years of direct experience with the target population.
  • Familiarity with clinical challenges faced by children and adolescents, alongside knowledge of DBT and substance abuse issues.
  • At least one year of experience in a supervisory capacity.
  • Proficiency in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to cultivate and sustain professional relationships with residents, colleagues, and supervisors.
  • Competence in working effectively with diverse populations and cultural groups.
  • Capability to physically implement Crisis Prevention Intervention techniques.
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, with flexible scheduling options.

Salary: $70,000

6% salary increase for bilingual proficiency in required languages.

The sign-on bonus is prorated for positions under 40 hours per week.
