Position: Network Sales Specialist

Become a key player in our expanding Wholesale Team. In this role, you will secure over-the-road (OTR) shipments in a competitive marketplace. Your primary responsibility will be to market our asset capacity to brokers on a daily basis. Collaborating with our operational teams, you will ensure a comprehensive understanding of daily truck requirements and identify the most lucrative loads available.

How can you excel in this position?
- Effectively assess various options to optimize truck utilization and surpass operational targets.
- Build strong relationships with designated planners and fleets to enhance volume, profit margins, and minimize deadhead.
- Manage shipments at the load level through pricing strategies and customer interactions.
- Familiarize yourself with PTI's freight network and increase volume to meet operational demands.
- Achieve or exceed performance metrics.
- Skillfully prioritize competing tasks.
- Maintain decisiveness and proactivity in a fast-paced environment.
What qualifications should you possess?
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook, Excel, Word.
- Adept at navigating multiple software systems.
- Effective communication skills for critical discussions.
- Open to constructive feedback.
- Ability to convey assertive messages effectively.
- Background in transportation is advantageous, though not mandatory.
- Experience in sales is preferred.
