Job Overview

Role Objective

The primary aim of this position is to assist the organization in achieving its strategic goals by ensuring readiness for agreed changes, addressing business challenges and opportunities, and facilitating the successful assessment and implementation of change initiatives for seamless integration within the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and identify business impacts and opportunities necessitating change within the organization.
  • Formulate business readiness strategies to ensure effective implementation of change initiatives.
  • Engage with stakeholders, including senior management, project teams, and external partners, to keep them informed about change initiatives and address their needs and expectations.
  • Collaborate with Client Readiness, Operational Readiness, and Technology Delivery teams to ensure that business, sales, operations, client servicing, and functional partners are adequately prepared for a smooth transition of technology delivery into Business As Usual (BAU), encompassing Target Operating Model, Training, Communications, and Service Agreements.
  • Manage resistance to change by ensuring stakeholder engagement and addressing their concerns.
  • Review business readiness plans and status reports alongside change delivery managers to confirm timely completion of business readiness activities, including newly identified risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Work closely with project teams to ensure alignment of change initiatives with project objectives and integration of change management activities into project plans.
  • Provide guidance and support to business stakeholders, ensuring they possess the necessary skills and knowledge for successful implementation of change initiatives.
Expectations for Assistant Vice President
  • Consult on complex matters, offering advice to People Leaders to aid in resolving escalated issues.
  • Identify risk mitigation strategies and develop new policies/procedures to support control and governance objectives.
  • Take ownership of risk management and strengthen controls related to the work performed.
  • Engage in work closely related to other areas, requiring an understanding of how different areas coordinate and contribute to the organization's objectives.
  • Collaborate with various work areas to stay informed about business activities and strategies.
  • Conduct complex data analysis from multiple internal and external sources, creatively solving problems.
  • Effectively communicate complex information, which may include sensitive or challenging content.
  • Influence stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.

As a User Acceptance Testing Lead at Barclays, you will oversee user acceptance and production verification testing functions, manage administrative consoles, triage incidents, and support the processes necessary for managing business needs.
