Job Description

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Ensure the safe and efficient receipt, storage, and shipment of products to internal and external customers.
  • Implement and evaluate process changes to improve material flow and reduce lead times.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize inventory management and reduce waste.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and customers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

**Requirements:**

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience with Windows-based computer systems.
  • Ability to operate a forklift in conjunction with all safety rules and regulations.
  • Ability to read and comprehend documents such as sales orders, slips, inventory records, and receiving documents.
  • Ability to write standard documentation and present information to other employees in the organization.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • 1-3 years of experience in a logistics or supply chain role.
  • Experience with an ERP system (CSI/Syteline preferred).
