About the Role

Amazon's Black Business Accelerator is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Representative to join our team. As an Account Representative, you will play a critical role in identifying, qualifying, and acquiring minority-owned businesses selling on Amazon.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and build relationships with key influencers and decision-makers within senior management and executive teams of prospective accounts.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to assist minority-owned businesses in their growth and success on Amazon.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to create and present compelling Amazon solutions that meet and exceed customer requirements.
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of projects and responsibilities, prioritizing and completing additional projects as needed.
  • Prepare and deliver business reviews regarding progress and state of health for respective territories.
  • Engage with merchants to understand their needs and gauge fit with Amazon Services product set.

About the Team

Amazon's Black Business Accelerator is dedicated to helping build sustainable equity and growth for Black entrepreneurs by enabling their success as sellers. We provide access to financial support, strategic business guidance, mentorship, and marketing and promotional support to help Black-owned businesses grow and thrive on Amazon.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 3+ years of sales or marketing work (e.g., e-commerce, retail technology, SaaS) or equivalent experience.
  • Experience influencing at all levels within an organization, particularly at the executive level.
  • Experience using data and metrics to draw business insights.
  • Experience managing a diverse portfolio of projects and responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of procurement and source-to-pay methods at small and medium businesses.
  • Experience exceeding sales targets using a consultative, solutions-focused approach or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of outbound sales experience.
