Amazon Sales Representative

Amazon Selling Partner Recruitment and Success is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Representative to join our Indigenous Recruitment Pilot team. As an Account Representative, you will play a critical role in developing and managing a sales pipeline mix of high-value accounts, executing sales and account management strategies to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities- Identify, qualify, acquire, and grow minority-owned businesses selling on Amazon.
- Implement and track metrics for recording the success and quality of sellers in your territory, using these metrics to guide your work and uncover hidden areas of opportunity.
- Understand and utilize CRM tools to track all pertinent account information and sales progress, as well as forecast and prioritize to achieve quarterly quota goals.
- Prioritize and complete additional projects while maintaining your current book of business, such as mentorship, competitive analysis, and sales analysis.
- Prepare and deliver business reviews regarding progress and state of health for the respective territory.
- Manage numerous opportunities concurrently and strategically.
- Create and articulate compelling value propositions around the Selling on Amazon product.
- Engage with merchants to understand their needs and gauge fit with the Amazon Services product set.
- Develop a clear understanding of the Selling on Amazon products, along with their features and functionalities.
- Assist internal partners to drive change, remove roadblocks, and close business.
- Drive revenue and market share in a defined territory or industry vertical.
- Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets.
- 7+ years of B2B or enterprise sales experience with a focus on hunting new business.
- Experience positioning and selling innovative solutions to new and existing customers and market segments.
- Experience identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing opportunities across a wide spectrum of customer engagement levels.
- Experience proactively growing customer relationships within an account while expanding their understanding of the customer's business.
- Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Demonstrated success and track record of exceeding sales targets using a consultative, solutions-focused approach.
- Excellent communication, both written and verbal, along with presentation skills, both externally to prospective clients and internally to upper management.
- Ability to work with all levels of a seller's organization.
- Ability to prioritize work in a complex, fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently.
- Ability to effectively communicate progress and objectives to upper management.
- Strong problem-solving passion and service orientation.
- An ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment and a passion for continuous improvement through collaboration and teamwork.
- Highly analytical with a passion for data.
- 7+ years working in a fast-paced sales role capacity, with a focus on planning, yield, and reporting.
- Experience selling nascent products/services into new markets is strongly desired.
- Retail e-commerce or supply chain experience within multiple retail verticals.
- Ability to understand multiple retail business models.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $101,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $176,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors, including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
