About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our Undiscovered and Small Business Accelerator (USBA) team, you will play a critical role in building and executing strategic partnerships that drive business growth and success for Black, Woman-owned, and Hispanic business owners on Amazon.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute internal strategic Amazon partnership models to recruit new and existing selling partners into the USBA.
  • Own the development and launch of an internal council focused on increasing opportunities for undiscovered businesses from diverse populations.
  • Create, optimize, and drive adoption of critical mechanisms required to ensure long-term expansion and success.
  • Plan and execute roundtable discussions with key external and internal stakeholders.
  • Work with key internal and external stakeholders, including the BBA Advisory Council, to identify, drive, and scale solutions that benefit Black business owners.
  • Track and report program learnings and effectiveness to internal stakeholders.
  • Look around corners to spot emerging issues and proactively lead the development and execution of new opportunities.
  • Manage and collaborate with a large group of stakeholders to inform program benefits.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business experience.
  • 5+ years of professional or military experience.
  • 7+ years of sales, inside sales, or business development experience.
  • Experience building and hiring a sales team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience developing efficient and scalable sales operations processes.
  • Experience defining sales tech requirements for a CRM such as Salesforce.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $142,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market.
