About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Representative to join our Direct Sales new business development team at Amazon. As an Account Representative, you will be responsible for recruiting and launching new brands within the Amazon Black Business Accelerator.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage a sales pipeline mix of high-value and transactional accounts while executing sales strategies to secure deals that exceed aggressive account acquisition and output goals.
  • Identify and build relationships with key influencers and decision-makers of prospective accounts, as well as internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to create and present compelling Amazon solutions that meet and exceed customer requirements.
  • Analyze customer data and make recommendations to maximize the potential of assigned territories.
  • Implement and track metrics for recording the success and quality of sellers in your territory.
  • Prospect and close business to achieve quarterly quota targets for both the quantity and quality of sellers recruited.
  • Understand and utilize the right tools to track all pertinent account information and sales progress.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the e-commerce industry and competitive environment.
  • Prepare and deliver business reviews regarding progress and state of health for respective territories.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets and operational metrics.
About the Team

Amazon's Black Business Accelerator is dedicated to helping build sustainable equity and growth for Black entrepreneurs by enabling their success as sellers. We help Black-owned Businesses grow their business with access to financial support, strategic business guidance and mentorship, and marketing and promotional support.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of professional or military experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications
  • Experience prospecting, qualifying, and cold-calling companies
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with pipeline management skills to include utilization of Salesforce or other CRM tools
  • Experience and track record of exceeding sales goals
Compensation

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $43,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $92,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
