Position Summary
The Vice President of Sales and Strategic Partnerships is tasked with expanding the Biologics and Vaccines sector and is accountable for achieving results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, driving sales volume and profitable revenue for the Biologics & Vaccines Franchise across our technology platforms, including Process and Analytical Development, Drug Substance, and Drug Product offerings from pre-clinical to late-phase/commercial supply.

This role involves establishing a robust pipeline of new client relationships and opportunities to facilitate ongoing business development.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Generating new clinical phase and commercial prospects while demonstrating the ability to sustain and enhance strategic customer relationships within small to mid-sized pharmaceutical and biotech firms.
  • Utilizing business acumen and technical expertise to drive leads and expand accounts for the Biologics & Vaccines Franchise.
  • Planning and executing sales and business development strategies within the designated region for the US Biologics & Vaccines Franchise, focusing on acquiring and managing business from small to mid-sized pharmaceutical and biotech companies.
  • Fostering new and existing relationships, identifying opportunities, and employing new business development skills.
  • Collaborating with inside sales and the Strategic team to research, identify, and develop new clinical and commercial development and manufacturing lead prospects from various sources.
  • Representing Resilience Corp. at trade shows and conferences, maintaining active membership and participation in industry groups and events.
  • Owning lead generation and conversion for early/late clinical phase and commercial manufacturing programs throughout the entire sales process.
  • Coaching and mentoring less experienced Sales and Business Development colleagues.
  • Maintaining and driving continuous improvement in customer relationships and communicating customer needs internally.
  • Collaborating with Marketing to design specific marketing campaigns to meet business objectives.

Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in a relevant life sciences or engineering field (e.g., Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering) is required, with an advanced degree and/or extensive business experience preferred.

Applicants should possess a minimum of 5+ years of experience in sales and business development, along with an additional 5 years in relevant roles such as project management, contract management, or development and manufacturing experience.

Experience in external sales, account management, or business development within a Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) is essential, as well as familiarity with contract negotiations and various business models.
