We are in search of a seasoned and driven senior sales leader to spearhead the Consumer Packaged Goods (Big Box Retail) Sales division.

As the Senior Vice President (SVP) of Strategic Partnerships at Univision, your main objective will be to optimize revenue by onboarding new clients and enhancing growth from existing partnerships. You will oversee a specialized team of senior business development professionals, crafting and executing sales strategies and tactical initiatives backed by Univision's extensive media capabilities to create significant client impact.

Your responsibilities will also encompass cultivating and sustaining relationships with C-Suite executives and marketing leaders within the CPG sector. A profound understanding of CPG and market entry strategies is crucial. In your role as SVP, you will actively participate in industry conferences and engage in dialogues to position Univision as a thought leader and trusted advisor in the field.

The ideal candidate will be a persuasive and impactful leader, possessing extensive sales experience, strong analytical and strategic skills, exceptional communication abilities, an entrepreneurial mindset, and the talent to narrate compelling stories that deliver marketing solutions driving client growth.

YOUR DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead a team of dedicated Business Development Vice Presidents focused on the category while personally managing select key accounts.
  • Collaborate closely with C-Suite executives and senior sales leadership.
  • In conjunction with executive teams, develop and implement category-specific strategies.
  • Utilize existing senior executive relationships to build and nurture client connections at the C-Suite level.
  • Engage with internal (sales, insights, partner solutions) and external stakeholders (agency leadership).
  • Establish agendas and facilitate monthly Tiger teams aimed at enhancing internal stakeholder comprehension of the category and reporting overall performance.
  • Keep the EVP, Chief Growth Officer, and President of Sales and Marketing updated on category development efforts, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Proactively collaborate with internal stakeholders to create category solutions.
  • Participate in industry events and conferences to position Univision as a thought leader and trusted advisor.
  • Take a leading role in client meetings with Univision senior leadership and client C-Suite executives.
  • Ensure that Univision presentations and discussions are engaging and accelerate client advertising initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's Degree required or a minimum of 10+ years in Marketing/Sales/CPG/Big Box Retail.
  • Significant experience in a sales/business development role working directly with high-level decision-makers: C-Suite, SVPs/VPs/Directors of Marketing, Brand Managers, and Media Directors at agencies.
  • Expertise in the CPG domain.
  • Established strong relationships with C-Suite decision-makers in the industry.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
