What We Provide
URW's Media and Experiential Sales Division ('Westfield Rise') is redefining how brands engage with consumers through digital out-of-home (DOOH) media, experiential activations, and long-term integrated partnerships at URW's iconic venues. We are in search of a Vice President of Business Development and Innovation to join URW's Westfield Rise. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Business Development, this role will be pivotal in crafting and executing an innovative go-to-market strategy, developing compelling vertical sales narratives, strategies, and products to support the sales team in acquiring new partnerships, monetizing existing ones, and generating new revenue streams.
Key Responsibilities
- Vertical Sales Strategies – Develop and implement industry-specific strategies (e.g., Luxury, Automotive) and go-to-market narratives that demonstrate how advertisers in each sector can collaborate with Westfield Rise to enhance brand impact and engagement. Strategies will utilize the full spectrum of the URW / Westfield Rise ecosystem, including DOOH, experiential, pop-ups, events, integrations, and sponsorship opportunities.
- Sponsorship Opportunities – Create thoughtful sponsorship initiatives for verticals to integrate into Westfield locations. Collaborate with design and development teams to proactively incorporate ideas and needs for Westfield Rise vertical opportunities into development projects.
- Insights & Data – Integrate comprehensive data and insights to support vertical narratives.
- Collaboration with Sales Team – Work closely with the sales team to understand needs, opportunities, and market feedback to enhance vertical narratives. Partner with the sales team to launch new vertical narratives and opportunities.
- Project Development Roadmap – Develop and manage a roadmap for vertical narrative rollout and product development requests to ensure timely achievement of key milestones.
- Innovation – Continuously seek new capabilities and innovations to maximize the opportunities Westfield Rise presents in the market. Collaborate with the SVP, Tech Team, and Operations to transition from ideation to pilot and execution phases for new capabilities.
- Vertical RFPs – Assist the sales team with strategic RFP opportunities to maximize revenue growth and sales rates.
- Leadership and Management – Inspire, collaborate, lead, and manage a Director of Business Development and Innovation as a strategic partner.
- Competitive Intelligence – Develop a thorough understanding of the market and industry, conducting competitive analysis to identify trends and insights, particularly in media, experiential, sponsorship innovation, and other properties.
