What We Provide

URW's Media and Experiential Sales Division, known as 'Westfield Rise', is redefining how brands engage with consumers through digital out-of-home (DOOH) media, experiential events, and long-term integrated partnerships at URW's iconic venues. We are in search of a Vice President of Business Development and Innovation to join URW's Westfield Rise. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Business Development, this role will be instrumental in formulating and executing an innovative go-to-market strategy, developing compelling vertical sales narratives, strategies, and products to support the sales team in acquiring new partnerships, monetizing existing relationships, and generating new revenue streams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Vertical Sales Strategies – Design and implement industry-specific strategies (e.g., Luxury, Automotive) and go-to-market narratives that demonstrate how advertisers in each sector can collaborate with Westfield Rise to enhance brand impact and engagement. Strategies will utilize the full range of URW / Westfield Rise assets, including DOOH, experiential events, pop-ups, sponsorships, and more.
  • Sponsorship Opportunities – Create thoughtful sponsorship initiatives for verticals to integrate into Westfield locations. Collaborate with design and development teams to anticipate project needs for Westfield Rise vertical opportunities, enhancing the consumer journey.
  • Insights & Data – Incorporate rich data and insights to bolster vertical narratives.
  • Collaboration with Sales Team – Work closely with the sales team to understand needs, opportunities, and market feedback to refine vertical narratives. Partner with the sales team to launch new vertical initiatives.
  • Project Development Roadmap – Develop and oversee a roadmap for vertical narrative rollout and product development requests to ensure timely achievement of key milestones.
  • Innovation – Continuously seek new capabilities and innovations to maximize market opportunities for Westfield Rise. Collaborate with the SVP, Tech Team, and Operations to transition from ideation to pilot and execution phases for new capabilities.
  • Support for Vertical RFPs – Assist the sales team with strategic RFP opportunities to optimize revenue growth and sales rates.
  • Leadership and Management – Inspire, collaborate, lead, and manage a Director of Business Development and Innovation as a strategic partner.
  • Competitive Intelligence – Conduct thorough market and industry analysis to understand trends and insights, with a focus on media, experiential, sponsorship innovation, and other properties.

  • Proven ability to thrive in rapidly changing environments.

$200,000 – $250,000 + Discretionary Annual Bonus
