Position Overview:
As a key member of the Playfly Group team, the Vice President of Corporate Partnerships will play a crucial role in driving commercial success through strategic partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage high-profile client accounts within the Premier Partnerships division.
- Identify and engage potential corporate partners to expand our sponsorship portfolio.
- Conduct outreach to prospective partners through cold calling and networking.
- Discover new opportunities for sponsorship inventory.
- Facilitate in-person sales meetings and deliver compelling presentations.
- Maintain and update client pipelines to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Create and present tailored sales proposals and presentations.
- Travel as necessary to meet with clients and stakeholders, both domestically and internationally.
- Support the acquisition of new clients for property representation and consulting services.
- Mentor and guide junior sales personnel to enhance team performance.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree is required.
- A minimum of 7 years of proven sales experience, particularly in sponsorship sales, with a track record of achieving significant revenue targets.
- Established network of high-level contacts among brands and rights holders.
- In-depth knowledge of the sports industry, especially in relation to sponsorship and commercial revenue strategies.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated experience in account management.
- Strong attention to detail, with excellent organizational and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team.
Travel and Physical Requirements:
- This role primarily operates in an office environment with occasional travel required.
Compensation:
The compensation for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience, including a base salary and commission structure.
