Air Systems Mechanical Engineer

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in the design and enhancement of air-actuated components for heavy-duty trucks.
  • Oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring effective resolution of vehicle-related issues.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to identify problems, conduct root cause analysis, and support product validation and release.
  • Utilize advanced CAD software to create optimized parts and assemblies for complex designs.
  • Manage projects through the Product Creation Process, utilizing Six Sigma methodologies to achieve engineering and corporate objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; EIT certification is a plus.
  • 1-3 years of relevant engineering experience, particularly with high-volume manufactured products.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, particularly Creo Parametric, is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex technical challenges independently.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with manufacturing and engineering teams.
