Position Summary:
The Human Resources Coordinator plays a crucial role in delivering a comprehensive range of technical and administrative HR services, particularly in the areas of personnel action coding and recruitment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide essential office support, including phone management, document scanning, and filing.
  • Oversee external email communications to facilitate documentation exchanges with applicants and external entities.
  • Document and confirm the receipt of necessary forms (e.g., resumes, SF50s, DD214s) from applicants and upload them into the designated automated application tracking system.
  • Maintain both electronic and physical records of all applicant documentation.
  • Prepare and send various form letters to candidates.
  • Collaborate with division offices to gather required information or documents.
  • Issue tentative or final offer letters to selected candidates.
  • Process, type, and distribute HR personnel documents (SF52s).
  • Handle payroll and personnel action processing in EmpowHR and NFC databases, including History Correction Update processing (HCUP).
  • Prepare and submit pre-employment packages as per agency guidelines.
  • Conduct data analysis and maintain spreadsheets for reporting purposes.
  • Utilize eRecruit (USA Staffing) systems to draft and review vacancy announcements.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of four years of experience with an Associate's Degree, or at least two years of experience with a BA or BS degree in a related field.
  • Proficient knowledge and experience in coding or processing various personnel actions as outlined in the Guide to Processing Personnel Actions, including pay setting and personnel hiring systems.
