Position Summary:

The Senior Human Resource Business Partner will collaborate with organizational leaders to formulate and implement HR strategies that enhance performance management, talent development, organizational efficiency, workforce planning, and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional experts within UTA's HR Centers of Excellence to align HR strategies with business objectives.
  • Utilize data analytics to inform decision-making, develop proactive performance management solutions, and address tactical and strategic challenges.
  • Design and implement strategies to enhance Employee Engagement while adhering to HR best practices. Lead and mentor a team of HR professionals, including other HR Business Partners.
  • Assess talent strengths and requirements through continuous evaluation of business needs.
  • Develop data-driven approaches to assist business leaders in making informed decisions regarding talent acquisition and management.
  • Work with Total Rewards to evaluate compensation competitiveness and provide recommendations to enhance employee engagement and retention.
  • Identify areas requiring change and contribute to the development of initiatives that enhance leadership and team performance.
  • Provide updates and insights to senior HR leadership and conduct coaching sessions with leaders to enhance their effectiveness.
  • Guide managers in facilitating organizational change and fostering an inclusive workplace.
  • Partner with HR disciplines such as Talent Management and Compensation to optimize talent management processes and build data-informed recommendations.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of legal requirements related to employee management and ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with the legal department as necessary and perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • A minimum of four years of human resources experience, particularly in employee relations, compliance, and HR functional areas.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Human Resources Management or an MBA in a related field is highly desirable.
  • National Human Resource certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is preferred.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
  • Ability to formulate actionable recommendations based on data analysis.
  • Proficient in building relationships and influencing stakeholders through expertise and data.
  • Commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly in conveying complex changes.
  • Results-oriented with a strong focus on service and accountability.
