Human Resources and Office Operations Specialist

Spirit of America is seeking a dedicated Human Resources and Office Operations Specialist to enhance our organizational effectiveness by managing office operations and supporting human resources initiatives. This role is pivotal in fostering a productive environment and developing a high-performing workforce.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative and be a vital contributor to our mission-driven team, focused on advancing freedom, democracy, and national security.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, negotiate, and sustain partnerships with office management and technology service providers.
- Oversee mail collection and distribution, including outgoing shipments.
- Manage inventory for office and kitchen supplies, ensuring timely restocking.
- Assist the Human Resources Director in recruitment efforts, including resume evaluation and interview scheduling.
- Acquire foundational knowledge of payroll systems to provide backup support.
- Facilitate staff development initiatives and enhance team morale.
- Support training and professional development programs.
- Coordinate access for team members to the building and parking facilities.
- Welcome and assist on-site visitors and consultants.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, including workspace preparation and equipment setup.
- Contribute to event planning, including venue selection, catering coordination, and participant accommodations.
- Assist the IT Director with technology setup for meetings and conferences.
- Perform additional duties as required.
