Position Overview

As an Automotive Sales Consultant at Venice Toyota, you will report directly to the Sales Manager. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure customer satisfaction while achieving sales targets.

Qualifications

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.

Licenses:
Valid Driver's License and Sales License are necessary.

Job-Specific Responsibilities:
Be accountable for selling vehicles while meeting dealership profit, volume, and customer satisfaction standards.
Collaborate with the sales manager to establish and achieve sales quotas for new and used vehicles.
Provide prompt and courteous service to customers, following the established sales process.
Effectively utilize floor time to address customer needs and solicit sales.
Assess each customer's vehicle requirements through active questioning and listening.
Conduct vehicle demonstrations and test drives.
Ensure customers are qualified based on their wants, needs, and purchasing ability.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new products, features, and accessories, along with their benefits to customers.
Implement a follow-up system to encourage repeat and referral business, enhancing customer satisfaction.
Conduct pre-delivery inspections and road tests prior to customer delivery.
Facilitate vehicle delivery to customers, ensuring they understand the vehicle's features, warranty, and paperwork, thereby fostering customer loyalty.
Utilize vehicle delivery as an opportunity to strengthen customer relationships.
Understand vehicle equity and values, and explain depreciation to customers.
Handle telephone transactions with courtesy and efficiency.
Employ a consistent quotation process for purchases, trade-ins, and vehicle sales.
Organize and display vehicles on the showroom and lot as directed.
Address customer complaints with empathy and a positive attitude to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Stay current with sales techniques and attend relevant training sessions.
Participate in sales meetings as required.
