Role Responsibilities
In this position, you will spearhead efforts to generate new sales of our core ERP solutions through a strategic, consultative sales methodology. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Driving sales initiatives for new ERP software, enhancements, professional services, and custom solutions by collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, strategic solutions that meet client needs.
  • Building trusted advisory relationships with C-level executives and decision-makers to provide insightful guidance and support.
  • Conducting thorough discovery sessions to understand and document the complex business requirements and operational goals of clients.
  • Acting as an internal project coordinator to ensure the pre-sales process remains organized and on schedule.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely reporting, documentation, and forecasting.
  • Focusing on client satisfaction, service quality, and profitability throughout the solutions purchasing process, ensuring a world-class experience for prospective clients.

A Day in the Life
Your daily activities will include:

  • Identifying and developing new sales opportunities through networking, industry contacts, and leads from events.
  • Engaging with potential clients via phone, email, or in-person meetings, diligently following up on leads and scheduling appointments.
  • Coordinating and participating in meetings with prospective clients at various levels.
  • Establishing partnerships with software referral providers and technology firms.
  • Creating detailed discovery notes to facilitate the accurate development of Statements of Work (SOWs).
  • Tracking daily activities and updating information in our CRM system.
  • Providing regular sales updates to internal stakeholders.
  • Planning proactively to ensure consistent achievement of sales targets.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in midmarket ERP software sales in an outside sales capacity.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
  • Strong business acumen and a solid understanding of business processes.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, and CRM tools.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with a professional demeanor.
  • Outstanding organizational, time management, and listening skills.
  • The ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment and build strong relationships.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
