Position Overview

The Oncology Sales Representative (OSR) is a pivotal role within the oncology diagnostics sector, serving as a specialized sales professional. The OSR is tasked with supporting oncology clientele and identifying new business opportunities within the designated region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of NeoGenomics products, services, and competitive landscape.
  • Achieve annual sales and profit targets through effective management of customer relationships.
  • Collaborate with Territory Business Managers (TBMs) to engage with key accounts.
  • Facilitate access to oncology groups by leveraging knowledge of the healthcare landscape.
  • Conduct consultative sales and promote the company's molecular products.
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within existing and prospective oncology practices.
  • Provide market insights and feedback on competitive products and industry trends.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and sales activities.
  • Participate in industry conferences and sales meetings to enhance product knowledge and networking.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of successful experience in oncology sales within the diagnostics or pharmaceutical sectors.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Willingness to travel as required for the role.
