POSITION OBJECTIVE:

The Retail Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in assisting the Store Manager to foster a customer-centric and product-driven sales environment. This position emphasizes our core values and guiding principles across all store functions, including overseeing sales operations, safeguarding assets, and managing human resources to ensure an exceptional customer experience and optimal profitability.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performance Culture

Evaluates sales data and key performance indicators to identify business needs; collaborates with the Store Manager to implement effective in-store business and sales strategies.

Sets clear expectations and holds the store team accountable for meeting brand standards in performance and behavior.
Manages payroll and supply budgets efficiently.

Oversees essential operational tasks such as scheduling, conducting shrink audits, managing physical inventory, and ensuring accurate payroll documentation.

Handles all financial transactions in compliance with company policies, including cash management, price adjustments, and merchandise handling; guarantees accuracy in all register operations.

Ensures adherence to all relevant laws, loss prevention protocols, and operational procedures; conducts training for associates to reinforce compliance.

Manages operational processes, including inventory management, daily merchandise replenishment, and preparation for physical inventory counts.

Maintains visual merchandising, organization, and facility upkeep that reflects the Brand's standards.
Fosters a high-performance culture, motivating the sales team to achieve sales and productivity targets.
Provides training and coaching to ensure the sales team is knowledgeable about products both online and in-store.

Inspires and motivates the store team, cultivating a shared vision while exemplifying core values.
Encourages an inclusive and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
Communicates effectively with store teams and the Store Manager to lead positive transformations.
Seeks opportunities for personal development and actively seeks feedback to enhance leadership skills.
Customer Experience
Models, teaches, and advocates for the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles, ensuring a seamless omni-channel experience.

Demonstrates sales expectations by employing various techniques and sharing product knowledge with customers; assists in recommending merchandise based on customer preferences.

Ensures prompt resolution of customer inquiries and concerns.

Facilitates a quick and efficient checkout experience, staying informed on policies regarding payments, returns, and exchanges.

Ensures the team maintains consistent communication with clients through customer engagement initiatives and loyalty programs.

Talent Development
Assists in the recruitment, hiring, and development of a high-performing team.
Supports and follows up on all training initiatives and seminars.
Evaluates and coaches the store team on performance metrics.
Collaborates with the Store Manager to address human resources matters effectively and promptly.
Enhances associate and team engagement by recognizing and rewarding exceptional performance.
Ensures compliance with all employment practices and policies.

Other duties as assigned.

This role may be available across various brands, and some responsibilities may differ by brand.

QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or equivalent
2+ years of experience in retail management preferred
Must be at least 18 years old
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to adapt to technology provided by the company
Demonstrated exceptional customer service skills with a proven track record in sales and leadership
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a dynamic environment
Proven leadership abilities, training, and team-building skills
Familiarity with the administrative aspects of store operations
Able to effectively communicate with customers and staff
Regular attendance is essential to meet company objectives; flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Constant walking/standing for a significant portion of the shift
Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. (1-33% of the shift)
Frequent climbing (34%-66% of the shift)
