Position Summary:

The Starbucks Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring a seamless, professional, and profitable Starbucks operation, adhering to all company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with Food Division Standards and Best Practices.
  • Oversee daily operations and manage team performance.
  • Accountable for sales, expenses, and overall profitability.
  • Guarantee the preparation and presentation of beverages and food items meet Starbucks standards.
  • Implement merchandising and product presentation guidelines.
  • Conduct quality checks to maintain food standards.
  • Exemplify positive customer service and sales techniques.
  • Foster strong relationships with store management.
  • Provide ongoing training, feedback, and motivation to team members.
  • Uphold professional appearance and communication standards.
  • Adhere to safety, sanitation, and equipment care protocols as mandated by health regulations.
  • Manage scheduling and payroll to optimize productivity and customer satisfaction.
  • Utilize sales forecasts and reports to meet financial goals.
  • Assist in the preparation and production of menu items.
  • Manage inventory and ordering processes in line with business needs.
  • Ensure timely payment of vendor invoices.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks to maintain cost efficiency.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Ability to comprehend and interpret instructional documents.
  • Flexibility to work varied retail hours, including evenings and weekends.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to walk, stand, communicate, reach, crouch, and climb ladders.
  • Frequent use of technology and equipment necessary for job functions.
  • Ability to lift/move up to 25 lbs regularly.
