Position Overview

The Key Holder role is pivotal in achieving our sales objectives through the effective management of store operations and customer engagement. This position involves taking on leadership responsibilities as assigned by the Store Managers and Assistant Store Managers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guide and mentor team members to enhance their selling capabilities.
  • Serve as the acting manager on duty to resolve customer inquiries and oversee vendor interactions.
  • Consistently meet or surpass financial, operational, and visual merchandising goals.
  • Drive sales by fostering strong client relationships.
  • Contribute to the overall efficiency of retail store operations.
  • Promote a culture of teamwork, trust, and collaboration among colleagues, customers, and management.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of one year of experience in retail sales management or customer service, or two years in a leadership role within a sales or office environment.
  • Experience in a branded retail setting.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Demonstrated excellence in customer service.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and coordinate various projects.
  • Proven problem-solving skills with cross-functional teams.
  • Understanding of business metrics and key performance indicators.

Work Schedule and Benefits

This position offers flexible scheduling to accommodate peak sales periods. Eligible employees may receive health and welfare benefits after meeting the minimum work requirement. Training includes certification from the Gemological Institute of America after one year of service.
