Key Responsibilities:
The following outlines the primary duties of the role:
- Drive sales of HCL to direct clients, engage in tenders for public sector entities, and oversee the distribution of TPA.

  • Persuade key decision-makers to choose Lanxess products in their processes.
  • Engage in negotiations with clients to establish periodic contracts regarding volumes and pricing, ensuring efficient movement of HCL tankers and preventing any production interruptions, while closely tracking stock levels at HCL tank farms.
  • Assess customer creditworthiness and manage compliance with accounting and Pollution Control documentation.
  • Maintain close collaboration with Production, Planning, Quality Assurance, and Logistics teams to facilitate the transportation of HCL from the plant and the arrangement of tankers.
  • Ensure safety protocols are adhered to during the transportation of tankers to clients, including GPS monitoring.

Stay informed on technical aspects related to products, market dynamics, competitor activities, applications, market share, pricing, quality standards, and innovations.


Advisory Role:
- Provide guidance on product selection to fulfill customer needs, emphasizing the advantages of Lanxess materials over those of competitors.

  • Keep product and dispatch plans for each client updated with all pertinent information regarding business growth.
  • Monitor competitor actions, identifying market trends and customer demands.
  • Recognize segments with end applications to leverage the potential of HCL users.
Requirements:

Educational Background:
Degree in Commerce or Science

Work Experience:
Relevant years in the field

Essential Skills:
A self-motivated individual who can work independently within a team framework. A structured and organized approach to work is essential. Experience in the HCL/Chlor Alkali sector is advantageous.
Strong communication and negotiation skills are necessary to develop and maintain relationships with clients.
