Position Summary

The individual in this role will provide essential administrative assistance to project management and sample intake, while also delivering exceptional customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing, reviewing, and processing a variety of standard project management documentation, databases, and related materials.
  • Offering fundamental guidance and interpretation of project management policies and practices to staff and management.
  • Conducting research and providing feedback to address inquiries from management and employees; facilitating customer feedback and coordinating necessary responses.
  • Supporting projects that involve client interaction, ensuring accurate sample check-in, monitoring analysis status, responding to client questions, and managing invoicing as directed.
  • Routing client inquiries to the appropriate project manager for further action.
  • Assisting in the development of project objectives, including proposed budgets, timelines, and resource allocation, while presenting information to management as needed.
  • Interpreting and applying departmental policies and relevant regulations, seeking guidance when necessary.
  • Enhancing departmental efficiency and effectiveness by contributing suggestions and actively participating in team initiatives.
  • Promoting a positive workplace environment by demonstrating courteous and cooperative behavior in all interactions.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

A High School Diploma or GED is required, along with two years of administrative support experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Familiarity with departmental policies and procedures.
  • Basic understanding of applicable laws and regulations.
  • Knowledge of standard testing tools and calibration methods.
  • Proficiency in relevant computer applications and systems.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate as a project team member.
  • Strong communication skills to ensure safe and effective operations.
  • Proficient in business English, including spelling and grammar.
