Position Summary

The Project Coordinator is tasked with delivering administrative assistance to project management and sample intake, while also ensuring exceptional customer service for all clients.


Key Responsibilities
  • Managing, reviewing, and processing a variety of standard project management documents, forms, databases, and related information.
  • Offering basic interpretation and guidance to staff and management regarding project management policies and operational practices.
  • Conducting standard research and providing feedback to address management and employee inquiries; facilitating customer feedback and coordinating necessary resources.
  • Supporting projects that involve client interaction, verifying sample check-in accuracy, monitoring analysis status, responding to client questions, and managing invoicing as directed.
  • Routing client inquiries and requests to the appropriate project manager for follow-up.
  • Assisting in the development and participation in project management or cross-functional objectives, including budget proposals, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Interpreting and applying departmental policies and procedures while adhering to relevant laws and regulations; seeking guidance as necessary.
  • Enhancing departmental efficiency and effectiveness by contributing suggestions and actively participating in team initiatives.
  • Promoting the overall mission of Pace Analytical by exhibiting courteous and cooperative behavior in interactions with clients and colleagues, fostering a positive workplace environment.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or GED; AND two (2) years of experience in administrative support; OR a combination of education, training, and experience that is equivalent.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Familiarity with departmental policies, procedures, and functions.
  • Basic understanding of applicable laws, codes, and regulations.
  • Knowledge of standard testing tools, equipment, and calibration processes.
  • Proficiency in computer applications and systems relevant to the role.
  • Awareness of effective teamwork principles and practices.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff, colleagues, and clients to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Proficient in business English, including spelling, grammar, and punctuation.

  • Training others on relevant policies and procedures.
  • Collaborating as a team member and managing project development.
  • Functioning effectively in both team-oriented and independent roles.
  • Interpreting and explaining applicable laws and regulations.
