Yamaha Motor U.S.A. is excited to announce an opening for a Regional Marine Sales and Marketing Manager to become part of our Marine division in a field role covering a designated area. This position is crucial for steering the overall strategy and Dealer development within the assigned region while serving as a trusted business advisor to our Yamaha Outboard Dealers to collaboratively enhance our market presence.


Key Responsibilities:


Establishing and nurturing effective sales relationships with marine dealers to cultivate new business opportunities and strengthen partnerships with boat manufacturers and sales representatives.

Conducting comprehensive sales training sessions for dealer sales teams and associated personnel as required.

Setting and achieving targets and objectives aligned with Yamaha's strategic goals.

Identifying and implementing key sales strategies tailored to Yamaha Outboards that are specific to the region.

Monitoring and servicing Yamaha Outboard dealers to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Proactively seeking new business opportunities.

Continuously refining and updating a strategic sales plan to meet monthly sales objectives assigned to the region.

Upholding a high standard of professionalism and competence as a representative of Yamaha while consistently generating innovative ideas to enhance the overall professionalism within the territory.

Executing all Yamaha Outboard Sales and Promotional initiatives within the dealer network.

Accurately forecasting product requirements for Dealer Accounts based on insights gathered from Yamaha Dealers, market dynamics, and historical sales data.

Reviewing Dealer Sales Reports (Fiscal, Model, and Calendar year) and other relevant sales documentation as they pertain to the region.

Supporting boat builder meetings, corporate and local boat shows, and dealer open house events.

Maintaining and tracking all relevant information regarding Dealer sales programs specific to the region.

Ensuring effective communication of Yamaha policies, procedures, and objectives to the dealer network.


Qualifications for Success:

A Bachelor's Degree coupled with a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant sales or sales management experience.

Willingness to travel overnight, including occasional weekends.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with outstanding presentation abilities.

A clean driving record.

Self-motivated, capable of working independently, and open to relocation if necessary.
