Position Summary

The Project Coordinator is responsible for delivering administrative assistance to project management and sample intake while ensuring exceptional customer service to all clients.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and review the completion and processing of various standard project management documents, forms, databases, and related information.
  • Offer basic interpretation and guidance to staff and management regarding project management policies and practices.
  • Conduct standard research and provide feedback to address management and employee inquiries; assist in gathering customer feedback and coordinating necessary resources.
  • Support projects that involve client interaction, including verifying sample check-in accuracy, monitoring analysis status, responding to client questions, and managing invoicing as directed.
  • Direct client inquiries and requests to the appropriate project manager for follow-up.
  • Assist in the development and participation in project management objectives, including budgets, timelines, materials, personnel, and other project requirements, while presenting information to management.
  • Interpret and apply departmental policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Enhance departmental efficiency and effectiveness by contributing suggestions and actively participating in work teams.
  • Promote the overall mission of Pace Analytical by demonstrating courteous and cooperative behavior in interactions with customers and staff, fostering a harmonious workplace environment.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or GED; AND two (2) years of experience in administrative support; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.


Required Knowledge and Skills

Knowledge:

  • Understanding of departmental policies, procedures, and functions.
  • Basic knowledge of applicable laws, codes, and regulations.
  • Familiarity with standard testing tools, equipment, and calibration processes.
  • Proficiency in computer applications and systems relevant to the role.
  • Principles and practices of effective project teamwork.
  • Effective communication methods with staff, coworkers, and customers to ensure safe and appropriate operations.
  • Strong command of business English, including spelling, grammar, and punctuation.

Skills:

  • Training others in relevant policies and procedures.
  • Collaborating as a team member and managing project development.
  • Working effectively in both team and individual contributor roles.
  • Interpreting and explaining applicable laws, codes, and regulations.
  • Preparing essential reports, correspondence, and other written materials.
  • Exercising initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
  • Utilizing tact and discretion in professional interactions.
  • Delivering effective presentations to diverse groups.
  • Contributing to the achievement of team or departmental goals and objectives.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with various individuals.
