Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Coordinator II to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate delivery of external and internal shipments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and process customer packages and shipments in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Coordinate deliveries to various locations throughout the customer site.
  • Communicate with supervisors and customers to resolve any issues or concerns.
  • Implement Practical Process Improvement (PPI) methodologies to optimize logistics operations.
  • Maintain shipping and receiving packing materials and equipment.
  • Operate powered and manual pallet jacks and lifters safely and efficiently.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
  • College degree preferred but not required.
  • 1-3 years of dynamic proven experience in logistics or a related field.
  • Experience in laboratory settings or services preferred.
  • GLP/GMP environment experience a plus.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Experience with receiving dangerous goods a plus.
