Job Overview

Marathon Staffing is seeking experienced candidates for a Contract, Logistics Warehouse Manager role with our dynamic manufacturing partner.

Position Summary

This position involves overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, which includes the receipt, storage, and distribution of products or materials. The role requires effective coordination among team members to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervising warehouse personnel and their daily tasks.
  • Assessing, managing, and reporting on warehouse efficiency.
  • Coordinating the receipt, storage, and timely dispatch of goods.
  • Managing inventory levels and ordering supplies as needed.
  • Verifying orders, bills, received items, and deliveries for accuracy.
  • Maintaining accurate records and preparing necessary documentation.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and basic maintenance standards.
  • Conducting daily inspections of warehouse premises.
  • Overseeing fleet and equipment maintenance.
  • Collaborating with other departments and external customers.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • A degree in business, management, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
  • Prior experience in a warehouse supervisory or similar management role.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations and management practices.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to delegate tasks effectively.
  • Proven leadership and organizational capabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry applications.
  • Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug test and background screening.
Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday, with potential for overtime or weekend work as needed.

Compensation:

Hourly wage ranges from $30.00 to $32.00, based on experience.
