Job Summary

Compass Group Careers is seeking a skilled Transportation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for delivering products or rendering services over an established route using a company-owned vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transportation Operations: Respond to transportation requests with a sense of urgency, meeting time delivery goals and following department protocols using a dispatch system.
  • Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations, ensuring a positive experience for our clients.
  • Logistics and Reporting: Complete necessary logs and reports, maintaining accurate records of transportation activities.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, resolving or reporting vehicle, building, security, or safety issues to management.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned to support the transportation team.
Qualifications:
  • Education: High School Diploma, GED preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Communication Skills: Effective verbal and listening communication skills, with a service-focused approach to meet a wide range of needs.
  • Driver Requirements: Must have a valid driver's license and pass a motor vehicle background check.
