Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our team at GlaxoSmithKline. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating all outbound and inbound shipments for our Logistics Team. This role will also involve managing off-site inventory at vendor warehouses and supporting Warehouse Operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate all outbound and inbound shipments to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
- Oversee the management of off-site inventory at vendor warehouses to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
- Support Warehouse Operations, including Shipping, Receiving, and Picking, to ensure seamless logistics processes.
- Coordinate with couriers, 3PLs, and internal departments to facilitate each shipment.
- Manage customs clearance and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Monitor and analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement and implement process changes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Shipping and Logistics.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of SAP.
- Basic understanding of cGMP Guidelines.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Solid stakeholder management.
- Ability to present data in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to be a strategic thinker.
- Team Player.
