We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Coordinator II to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate delivery of external and internal shipments.
Key Responsibilities- Receive and process customer packages and shipments in a timely and accurate manner.
- Coordinate deliveries to various locations throughout the customer site.
- Communicate with supervisors and customers to resolve any issues or concerns.
- Implement Practical Process Improvement (PPI) methodologies to optimize logistics operations.
- Maintain shipping and receiving packing materials and equipment.
- Operate powered and manual pallet jacks and lifters safely and efficiently.
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required; college degree preferred.
- 1-3 years of dynamic proven experience in logistics or a related field.
- Experience in laboratory settings or services preferred.
- GLP/GMP environment experience a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail.
