Overview:
The Medical Access Coordinator II (MAC II) role encompasses a blend of administrative and clinical responsibilities within the healthcare environment. As a vital member of the healthcare team, MAC IIs play a crucial role in ensuring both clinical and administrative functions are executed efficiently, thereby enhancing patient flow and clinic operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform administrative and clerical tasks alongside clinical duties.
- Facilitate patient access and ensure a smooth operational workflow.
- Support the healthcare team in meeting the needs of patients and the clinic.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of an accredited medical assistant program.
- Current certification in AHA or ARC BLS Healthcare Provider.
- Proficient in English; knowledge of an additional language is preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of administrative experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in phlebotomy skills.
