Overview:

The Medical Access Coordinator II (MAC II) role encompasses a blend of administrative and clinical responsibilities within the healthcare environment. As a vital member of the healthcare team, MAC IIs play a crucial role in ensuring both clinical and administrative functions are executed efficiently, thereby enhancing patient flow and clinic operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform administrative and clerical tasks alongside clinical duties.
  • Facilitate patient access and ensure a smooth operational workflow.
  • Support the healthcare team in meeting the needs of patients and the clinic.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Completion of an accredited medical assistant program.
  • Current certification in AHA or ARC BLS Healthcare Provider.
  • Proficient in English; knowledge of an additional language is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of administrative experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in phlebotomy skills.
