Position Overview:
The Administrative Assistant will provide essential support to the Executive Director of Research Operations and other team members. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth operational processes and effective communication within the department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage calendars and coordinate scheduling for meetings.
- Document meeting notes and follow up on action items generated during discussions.
- Prepare professional documents and presentations utilizing PowerPoint, Excel, and Microsoft Word.
Additionally, the candidate will:
- Independently compose high-level correspondence with a focus on professionalism and clarity.
- Edit and proofread various written materials to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Arrange travel logistics and create detailed itineraries for all travel plans.
- Coordinate meeting schedules, track responses, and manage technology requirements for virtual and in-person meetings.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in professional office administration.
- Proficient technical skills with Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant tools.
- Exceptional writing abilities, particularly in complex subjects such as policy research and data management.
