Position Title: Vice President of Managed Services Operations

Location: Fort Worth, TX | Hybrid

About the Team:

At SS&C | Innovest, a premier provider of Managed Services, we are seeking a dynamic leader to join our Management Team. This role is pivotal in overseeing teams that execute daily operational functions within stringent timelines. It presents an excellent opportunity to be part of a high-performing team in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented setting. This is a full-time, in-office role with occasional weekend commitments during peak periods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Managed Services Team and serve as a primary escalation point.
  • Oversee the input and upkeep of data in InnoTrust, adhering to the defined responsibilities for Managed Service clients.
  • Ensure that procedures for Managed Services are regularly updated and maintained.
  • Assist in the SOC 1 Type 1 engagement process.
  • Ensure that all transactions are accurately balanced and documented in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Manage the coordination of cash and security processing activities.
  • Guarantee that daily processing and reconciliation deadlines are consistently met.
  • Coordinate activity schedules with each client.
  • Resolve reconciliation discrepancies promptly.
  • Research, document, and manage escalated client issues.
  • Foster and maintain positive relationships with clients.
  • Collaborate with internal business partners at SS&C Innovest to identify and resolve issues.
  • Exhibit a relentless commitment to accurate and timely processing for clients.
  • Advocate for client concerns and communicate issues effectively to relevant parties.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships across all departments within SS&C Innovest and with external vendors.
  • Demonstrate subject matter expertise on clients, becoming a vital resource for other internal departments.
  • Communicate professionally and effectively.
  • Work alongside the management team to achieve departmental and corporate objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for efficiencies and implement automation to mitigate risks and enhance scalability.

Workflow Management:

  • Proactively manage scheduled work and team assignments.
  • Effectively handle escalated issues to ensure timely resolution.

Knowledge Management:

  • Demonstrate expertise in SS&C Innovest and Managed Services.
  • Adopt a proactive approach to learning and development.
  • Become a subject matter expert in Managed Services.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with InnoTrust.
  • 3+ years of management experience leading an operational team.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Proficient project management capabilities.
  • Ability to quickly learn new processes and systems.
  • Capacity to work independently and under pressure in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workloads.
  • Understanding of Trust Operations, Financial Markets, Securities Industry, Retirement Industry, and Banking.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • SQL knowledge is a plus.
