Primary Objective:

The Vice President of Operations will be instrumental in guaranteeing that students experience a secure, clean, and supportive learning atmosphere by managing various operational components of the district.

Key Responsibilities:

Facilities Management:
  • Formulate and implement strategic plans for the management of facilities.
  • Collaborate with educational leaders to ensure facilities meet changing requirements.
  • Establish preventative maintenance initiatives.
  • Effectively manage facility-related budgets.
  • Supervise bond construction projects and long-term strategic planning.
Transportation Management:
  • Create strategic transportation plans that align with educational objectives.
  • Ensure maintenance and safety of the fleet.
  • Enhance bus route efficiency.
  • Implement safety regulations and provide training for personnel.
Outsourced Services Management:
  • Oversee outsourced services to ensure alignment with educational objectives.
  • Guarantee compliance with policies and manage budgets effectively.
Safety and Security Oversight:
  • Uphold safety standards and develop comprehensive safety protocols.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and foster partnerships with relevant organizations.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Effectively manage non-instructional budgets.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Ensure adherence to regulations and collaborate on operational initiatives.
  • Provide guidance on district operations to various stakeholders.
Supervisory Duties:

Oversee the Directors of Safety & Security and Facilities, Energy Manager, and support personnel.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business management or a related field.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • A minimum of five years of leadership experience, ideally in public education.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficient in data analysis and problem-solving.
Compensation:
$153,000 - $233,610.00 annually
