Position: Founding After School Educator
Supervisor: Founding Extended Learning Coordinator
About the Role: We are on the lookout for a dedicated After School Educator with a background in early childhood education to guide and inspire students in our after school programs at Global Citizens Public Charter School. Our institution is pioneering dual language immersion in both Mandarin Chinese and Spanish, aiming to equip students with essential language skills while fostering a commitment to social justice and holistic child development.

Key Responsibilities:
- Implement the daily schedule designed by the Extended Learning Coordinator, engaging students in enjoyable, hands-on learning experiences.
- Maintain accurate attendance records to track student participation.
- Uphold high academic and behavioral expectations for all students.
- Support fellow educators and the Extended Learning Coordinator as needed.
- Foster a positive and achievement-oriented atmosphere that aligns with the school's vision.
- Establish and reinforce clear expectations and routines to ensure a safe and structured environment.
- Monitor student safety at all times during various school activities.
- Participate in weekly staff meetings with the Extended Learning Coordinator.
- Distribute snacks to students as part of the daily routine.
- Be prepared to work during designated morning and afternoon programming hours.
