Western Region Sales Director

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Director to lead our Western Region sales team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, building strong relationships with distributors, and identifying new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the Territory
Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve revenue growth and expand our presence in the Western Region. Foster strong relationships with existing distributors and identify new potential partners to drive business expansion.
Seek Revenue-Generating OpportunitiesUtilize sales reporting, online research, event leads, and other resources to identify and pursue revenue-generating opportunities with distributor accounts.
Collaborate with the Director of SalesWork closely with the Director of Sales to analyze regional sales data on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, contributing to the budget process for the territory.
Ensure Effective CommunicationDevelop and implement effective communication strategies to support operational needs and ensure seamless collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Supervise the West Sales Account ManagerProvide guidance, support, and coaching to the West Sales Account Manager to ensure they are equipped to meet their sales targets and contribute to the team's overall success.
Travel and Sales EnablementTravel approximately 50% of the time within the territory to build relationships with distributors, attend industry events, and stay up-to-date on market trends. Utilize Salesforce to manage customer engagement and sales processes.
Qualifications- Education
A Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) is required.
ExperienceA minimum of 3 years of experience in sales to foodservice distributors is required.
Sales and Account Management SkillsStrong sales and account management skills, coupled with excellent negotiation abilities, are essential for success in this role.
Technical SkillsProficiency in MS Office Suite and experience with CRM software, specifically Salesforce, are required.
Organizational and Time Management SkillsStrong organizational, time management, and project management skills, with the capability to handle multiple projects and adhere to deadlines and budgets, are necessary for this role.
Compensation and Benefits- Base Salary
A base salary of $80,000 is offered, with the potential for a bi-annual bonus of up to 20%.
BenefitsComprehensive benefits, including 100% company-paid medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, are provided.
Additional BenefitsAdditional benefits include an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), a 401K plan with profit sharing (approximately 12% annually), 11 paid holidays, vacation time, a company laptop, docking station, cell phone, and company credit card. Mileage reimbursement is also offered.
