Regional Sales Manager - Part Time

Location: CA - SAN DIEGO

As a Nespresso Regional Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in mentoring and training a team of Field Coffee Sales Advisors across a designated area. Position Overview

The Nespresso Regional Sales Manager will receive comprehensive training on all client program initiatives to effectively engage sales representatives, retail vendor associates, and store customers regarding the latest Nespresso offerings. This position will oversee the daily development of a designated group of Field Nespresso Advisors, traveling to various retail locations to provide targeted mentoring, training, and coaching sessions to ensure all representatives are well-informed about product knowledge and effectively executing sales strategies.

The ideal candidate will possess a genuine enthusiasm for coffee, a proven sales background, and a proactive attitude to promote the Nespresso brand and its sustainable initiatives.

Schedule & Availability

25-35 hours per week

Open availability from Thursday to Monday

Visit local retailers on a rotational basis within the assigned territory

What We Provide

$30.00 per hour

Paid training program to certify you on Nespresso product knowledge

Key Responsibilities

Sales Support

  • Identify sales opportunities at the store level (advertising, demo inventory, and traffic awareness)
  • Schedule and conduct sales events at retail locations
  • Communicate any inventory issues (either too high or out of stock) to the manufacturer and retailer as necessary

Training & Development

  • Provide ongoing training sessions for assigned Nespresso representatives at least once per month
  • Ensure representatives are knowledgeable about Nespresso manufacturing and product features, including usage principles and recycling credentials
  • Implement sales skills assessments and coaching interventions as needed
  • Engage in introductory training for new product launches

Internal Communication

  • Complete call reports on the same day of store visits, detailing store conditions, traffic flow, sales trends, competitive activity, and inventory issues
  • Submit photos with detailed descriptions
  • Escalate in-store issues promptly through appropriate channels
  • Identify competitive advantages and propose ideas to address them at the local level
  • Participate in team conference calls

Operational Responsibilities

  • Consistently meet predefined visit frequency goals, adhering to travel and expense policies
  • Meet predefined expense goals

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience in retail sales or special events
  • Some experience in a supervisory, training, or lead role is advantageous
  • Enthusiast of coffee-related beverages
  • Strong relationship management skills and ability to motivate others
  • Engaging demeanor with excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Comfortable presenting to individuals and groups

Physical Requirements:

  • Willingness and ability to travel to various retail locations within the assigned territory
  • Must maintain a valid driver's license and meet corporate insurance standards for renting a vehicle
  • Adhere to professional appearance standards as required
  • Must be mobile and able to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs. without assistance
  • Access to a smart device with a data plan
  • Access to reliable transportation
