The Service Coordinator at Tech24 plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless operations. This position demands a keen eye for detail, a strong commitment to accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily schedules of service technicians and dispatch them as service requests are completed.
  • Coordinate return visits with clients once parts are available and maintain an up-to-date customer database.
  • Communicate effectively with department managers, employees, and clients, providing timely updates on schedules and lead times.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Exceptional customer service abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with the service area or proficiency in map reading.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience in customer service, dispatching, or project management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the HVAC industry.
  • Three or more years of dispatching experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Daily Responsibilities Include:

  • Dispatching service technicians to various service calls.
  • Scheduling and coordinating service appointments.
  • Maintaining the Global Edge Dispatch Schedule.
  • Conducting debriefs with technicians post-service calls.
  • Forecasting workload for upcoming days.
  • Following up on customer return calls and confirming scheduled appointments.
  • Maintaining customer demographic files and service databases.
  • Responding to nightly phone messages and coordinating with warehouse personnel regarding parts for scheduled jobs.
  • Other assigned duties as necessary.
