Position Overview: As a vital member of our team, you will work under the guidance of the Pod Team Manager, focusing on the coordination of customer service requests and technician scheduling within the HVAC sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and manage customer service calls, ensuring efficient scheduling of service appointments.
- Oversee the daily schedules of technicians and mechanics to optimize service delivery.
- Collaborate with Customer Billing and Support Coordinators to ensure timely job completion and accurate processing.
- Maintain up-to-date customer account information in our management system, NxGen, to facilitate effective call management.
- Assist with parts ordering and purchase order creation as needed.
- Manage work-in-progress (WIP) effectively to ensure operational efficiency.
- Participate in weekly planning and scheduling meetings to align team efforts.
- Perform additional administrative tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with two to five years of experience in service industry operations or scheduling. Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite, is essential.
The ideal candidate will possess strong multitasking abilities, demonstrating tact and cooperation while managing diverse projects and tasks. Prioritization skills based on financial impact are crucial.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in HVAC operations is advantageous.
- Familiarity with basic project accounting or costing principles is desired.
